About Standards and Testing


Bigneat Chemcap™ Ductless Filtration Fume Cabinets coupled with Chemcap™ filtration meet the world's most stringent standards:

The AFNOR NF X 15-211 Class II and
BS 7989:2001

Bigneat cabinet types are containment tested using SF6 - by INVENT UK, an independent company.

Tests are carried out to ensure that the following minimum requirements are met:-

  1. The highest time averaged mean SF6 concentration measured, during test, at any specified location and at normal aperture opening height, should not exceed 0.005ppm.
  2. The highest maximum SF6 concentration measured, during test, at any specified location and at a normal aperture opening height, should not exceed 0.010ppm.

The test results show that Bigneat Chemcap™ Ductless Filtration Fume Cabinets provide excellent containment of hazards.
