Two models are available:
Class II (A) - Ducted Installation
For use for all biological applications, a proportion of the circulated air is exhausted to building ductwork via a HEPA filter. This traps infectious or dangerous biological materials which could otherwise be released into the environment.
Class II (B) – Recirculatory Installation
Appropriate for all biological applications but should exclude applications where radioactivity may be released.
- Avoids the need for installation of ducting
- Exhausted air is drawn through two HEPA filters prior to release
- Saves energy
- Does not affect existing building ductwork air flows.
