Laboratory Automation and Robotics System enclosures offer protection to laboratory staff and protect the enclosed process. Equipment may include release of fumes or aerosols, particles (bio-hazards), vapours or gases. Hazardous compounds are retained in a particulate HEPA filter and/or chemical filter and the cleaned air is returned back to the laboratory. Systems without filtration are ducted away and vented away to atmosphere or a remote filtration system.
Many enclosures manufactured by Bigneat are clean air in nature - the HEPA filtration system bathes the enclosed equipment in ISO Class 5 clean air protecting the enclosed processes and experimentation.
