Equipment for education must offer affordability yet provide conditions at a quality standard used in world-class research laboratories. Most importantly acrylic construction allows excellent all-round vision for students and teachers.
Protection is provided when undergoing experimentation in the chemistry laboratory, for experiments that release fumes, aerosols, particles, vapours or gases. Hazardous compounds are retained in a chemical filter and/or particulate HEPA filter and clean air is returned back to the laboratory. In the biology laboratory most often aseptic techniques are undertaken that require downflow air filtered through HEPA filters.
