Controlled Atmosphere Storage

For many years Bigneat has been producing ventilated carbon filtration cabinets which are typically used for storage of bottles of chemicals. The ventilation provided removes vapours from drips remaining on the bottles and the carbon filter absorbs potentially hazardous chemicals and odours.

Bigneat’s new cupboards with dry nitrogen gas environments, valuable specimens and moisture sensitive compounds can now also be stored locally.

This moisture-free environment is maintained using dry nitrogen gas and sensors monitor the need for gas flow within the cabinet.

Now Bigneat offers a variety of storage solutions for sensitive compounds requiring controlled atmospheres.

Cupboard shown (right) is a nitrogen storage system with 100% seal integrity providing a dry, oxygen free atmosphere. The airflow system incorporates carbon filtration for the removal of DMSO vapours.
